These are my cousin's dogs. They went away last week and asked me to watch them. The little puppy, Otis, is as cute as ever, but you have to watch him almost every minute, he's unpredictable. Ruger, on the bottom left, is a purebred lab who is solid muscle. I still have rope burn on my hands from walking him around outside. The puppy was sometimes hard to photograph because he kept moving but he was very photogenic when he sat still. I played with the lighting a little bit, I used a flash for each shot because they were taken during that big storm we had so I didn't have any natural light to work with.

Such beautiful dogs, their stillness is certainly a factor that works to your benefit as the viewer can observe them as wholes.
ReplyDeleteThe dogs are adorable!! I know it's very hard to get pics of animals some times but you did a really good job shooting them. Pet Photographer quality. Great job!!
ReplyDeleteGreat photos for all us animal-lovers! You did a good job of capturing the dogs' personalities. Having tried to photograph my own pet guinea pig, I'm with you on how hard it is to get good shots of pets; they're tricky subjects!
ReplyDeleteThese doges are just absolutely cute! Your skill at taking animal photographs is really exceptional. You used very good lighting in the last shot, adds over the top interest in the dog.
