Portrait #9
This was the highlight of my Spring Break, I took some pictures for my friends before they went to their Senior Ball. This was my favorite photo from the whole afternoon. I wanted to focus on the flowers, but set the mood by capturing their faces. I adjusted the crop in photoshop. I thought this crop made it interesting and it eliminated some of the visual noise of the background. I thought one of my favorite songs fit the picture perfectly:
You make me smile like the sun,
fall out of bed
Sing like bird,
dizzy in my head
Spin like a record,
crazy on a Sunday night
You make me dance like a fool,
forget how to breathe
Shine like gold,
buzz like a bee
Just the thought of you can drive me wild
Oh, you make me smile

I think this is so adorable. It really captures that moment.
ReplyDeleteAnd I love that song; it fits perfectly=)
This is a really nice shot. The difference in clarity foreground/background is perfect and like Neesie said, captures the moment perfectly but includes an artistic aspect.
ReplyDeleteThis is so pretty! I love the vibrant colors and I agree, it really did capture the moment perfectly. The crop was a really good choice for this photo and the lighting is perfect. Your friends must love the pictures you took!
ReplyDeleteThis is a great photo. Like the others have said, you captured the moment. I really like how the flowers seem to pop out with color but doesn't take away from the actual shot.
ReplyDeleteI love how the photo captures your eye with the colorful flower. The colors are very nice and adds life to the image.
ReplyDeleteThe composition is also very well.
Beautifully done, Ashley. Great angle!
